Colorado October 2006
Rob and I just returned from a wonderful vacation in Colorado. We flew in and out together but he spent the weekend in Denver and I was in Boulder.
Rob’s long weekend was spent with his dad at the Great American Brewfest. It sounds like they had an amazing time enjoying their favorite thing….beer. There were 41,000+ attendees enjoying 1,650 different kinds of beer.
I really enjoyed my trip to visit the Baer Family in their new Boulder home. The first 2 days we spent time walking through Pearl Street and at a pumpkin patch/corn maze. On Saturday we went hiking in Espes park at the base of the Rockies where it was elk mating season. The “bugling” was not as glamorous as it sounds. The fall leaves of the Aspen trees were amazing. Look here to see the pictures.
Sounds like Rob and his dad are looking at making the beerfest an annual trip and I am always looking for a reason to go back to see the Baers.
