With babies it is always a goal to have a successful transfer from car to crib.  With Nicholas our goal has been to transfer him from the car to the house, still in his carseat.  I have never even attempted a carseat to crib transfer.  Today he was still asleep for, a record breaking, 10 minutes after being brought in the house.  I had to take a picture to capture this moment….he woke up 2 minutes after the picture was taken.

One of the main reasons Nicholas might not be able to stay sleeping is his big brother’s excitement to want to play with him.  Fortunately after a few minutes of snuggles he is usually pretty happy to be hanging out somewhere other than his carseat while we get ready for lunch.
