Today we tried baby yoga for the first time. It was a lot of fun, and Cooper seemed to really enjoying the stretching poses. The instructor said that the babies would sleep for hours after the session–we were all excited to hear that! After yoga we had Cooper’s first physical therapy session for his neck. The therapist said she could also see the flat spot and that one ear was slightly in front of the other. We were given two primary exercises to do. One to move his head so his left chin is above his left shoulder, and the other is to tilt his head so his left ear touches his left shoulder. We have a follow-up appointment in 2 weeks.
One of my favorite events is our annual camping trip with my high school friends Jennifer and Stephanie and their families. I really enjoy exploring new campgrounds and visiting ones that Kari and I once camped at with our grandparent’s camping group. This year Rob was out of town flying the plane to Dallas, TX so Cooper and I ventured up to Deception Pass to hangout for the day. Cooper was a fantastic sport, as usual, and we had a great time. I am already looking forward to next year when we can go as a family and stay overnight. Hopefully Cooper will continue sleeping through the night a year from now so we don’t keep the whole campground up 🙂 Full set of pictures from camping are here.
When we were flying back from Jackson, Rob’s mom and brother were driving the same route. Charlie will be starting school at DigiPen next week and they came out here to get him set-up in his apartment. We went over to visit and check out his new place while enjoying some more of his post-birthday cheesecake.
