It was such a special treat to have Rob’s cousin in town for a long weekend.  We got to know her even better when she was here 5 years ago on a nursing rotation and miss her tons since she moved back to Florida.  The best part of the trip was when Jeff proposed to Kristina at Lake Crescent.  We were very excited to celebrate with them when they got back.

The boys and I met Kristina and Jeff and another nursing friend Jenn and her daughter Emma at the Ballard Locks.  We had a yummy meal at the Portage Bay Cafe and loved their fresh fruit bar.  Cooper is big into cutting things now and worked very hard on making his french toast and fruit bites as small as possible.

The newly engaged couple with Emma and Cooper.  Yes, it was the perfect weather to be at the locks, with the bonus of a fire boat going through too.

Cooper loved having a buddy to explore with, even if she pulled him around a bit 😉
